Describe a project you worked on at NSE that you’re proud of.
HR launched its first ever MiniGame in 2024 and it was awesome to be part of that! I also had the opportunity to present our MiniGame at the NSE MiniGame Olympics.Â
What’s your favorite part of working at NewStream?Â
I love that it feels like a family here, and I learn something new every day.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like reading and watching a good show with my fiancé.
What’s your guilty pleasure snack/dessert?
Peanut M&Ms.Â
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Give back to my parents and the community I grew up in. My family started a scholarship several years ago in memorial of my grandma, and I would want to make sure it keeps going for the years to come.
How has NSE contributed to your professional growth?
NSE is where I started my career and I have grown a lot professionally over the last 5 years. I’ve been able to attend leadership and financial literacy courses and those have helped me a lot. I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience and have been fortunate to have supportive leadership that has provided guidance and feedback along the way.
Do you have a nickname?
I frequently go to the gym after work and several of the ladies there call me Mad-Dog.
What’s a surprising fact about you?
I have a good size collection of unique salt & pepper shakers that my fiancé and I have collected from various thrift stores and our travels. My favorite is a pair of sharks we got from a cruise to the Dominican Republic.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m most excited about stepping into a role where I can have a broader impact on both employees and the organization. I’m looking forward to continuing to build relationships, supporting the growth of our team, and expanding my skills across different areas of HR.
