We are pleased to announce that Seth Kamykowski has been promoted to Account Manager. Seth joined NewStream Enterprises in July of 2024 as a Sales Support Specialist. According to his supervisor, Jennifer Potts, Seth has “dedicated himself to learning all aspects of his role and consistently demonstrated strong performance in every task he was assigned.” We look forward to continuing to leverage his skills to help drive the growth of NewStream. Read on for a Q&A with Seth.
Describe your new role. What are your responsibilities? Do you have any goals for your new position?
As an account manager, my responsibility shifts from day-to-day operations to more business development within the accounts. I will have more contact with the managers or leaders of our customer accounts. One of my goals is to better align NSE and Isuzu and grow their business.
Describe a project you worked on at NSE that you’re proud of.
The biggest project that sticks out to me is the onboarding of JCB as a customer and understanding the complexities NSE must go through when onboarding new business. There were two process flows from this project, a visual in-depth flow chart and a high-level view flow chart.
What’s your favorite part of working at NewStream?
Coming into work and seeing the dedication and drive from all of NSE’s employees day in and day out.
What do you like to do in your free time?
During my free time, I like to travel, camp, hunt, and spend time with friends and family.
What’s your guilty pleasure snack/dessert?
Cheddar jalapeño Cheetos.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
First, I would take care of my family and then I would buy land out west, build a house, and work the land.
How has NSE contributed to your professional growth?
With NSE being an open-book management company, I have gained so much knowledge about the financials of the business and ultimately what numbers or KPIs drive the company’s success. The Great Game of Business is about creating business-minded people and the culture of NSE/SRC has really changed my perspective on business.
Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind them?
My true nickname is Kamy, because my last name is too hard for people to say. I also acquired a second nickname in college, Cheffa, because I was always cooking for myself and my roommates.
What’s a surprising/weird fact about you?
I do almost everything right-handed, but growing up I picked up swinging an object left-handed from my sister who is left-handed. I bat, play hockey, and putt left-handed but swing golf clubs right-handed.
What are you most excited about in taking on your new role as Account Manager?
I am most excited about building on the relationships I already have with our customers. In the support role, I had some face time with our customers but there will be much more time on the phone, meetings, etc., with customers. I enjoy the travel aspect, too, such as getting in front of our customers and representing NSE.
